Triple Chocolate Cookies
Triple Chocolate goodness!
Ingredients
- 115g unsalted butter
- 150g light brown sugar
- 115g granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanila extract
- 160g plain flour
- 20g cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 bar of milk/dark chololate
- 1 bar of white chocolate
- an oven at 160C (fan) for 12ish minutes
Instructions
- Step 1
Melt the butter (brown it for an extra nutty flavour)
- Step 2
Mix the melted butter with the 2 sugars
- Step 3
Add the egg and vanila extract and combine
- Step 4
Sift in the flour, cocoa, bicarb & salt and combine with mix
- Step 5
Roughly cut the chocolate bars up (1-2cm chunks) and stir into the mix
- Step 6
Put mix into the fridge for at least 30 minutes (longer is better)
- Step 7
Shape into rough balls and spread out on baking paper
- Step 8
Cook for 12ish minutes and leave to rest for about 15 minutes.
Notes
Don't stir anything more than it needs it. The less stiring, the more science. Ask youtube, they told me.
You can try making the balls and freeze them before cooking, which will make them even gooier.
